The Parent - Teachers' Asso-
ciation of Yeshivath Beth Yehu-
dah elected Mrs. Hillel L.
Abrams president at a recent
meeting. Also elected were
Eugene Goldberg and Mrs.
Louis Cohen, vice-presidents;
and Mesdames Joseph Hendler
and Sam Shoenig, secretaries;
and Mrs. Kurt Hertz, treasurer.
Elected to the Board of Di-

light ceremony at Adas Shalom
Synagogue. Rabbi Jacob E.
Segal officiated. •
Parents of the bride are Mr.
and Mrs. Harry Portner of
Santa Rosa Dr. The bridegroom
is the son of Mrs. Sarah G
Blank of Miami Beach and Dr.
Philip Blank of Pittsburgh.
The bride wore a princess
line gown of white tissue peau
de soie appliqued with Alencon
lace and embroidered with seed
pearls. AU obi sash accented
the bouffant • skirt which ter-
minated in a chapel train. Her
tiered tulle veil was fastened
to a matching crown.
Mrs. Harold Rossen was ma-
tron of honor. Bridesmaids
were Susan Blank of Miami
Beach, sister of the bride-
groom; Louise Abbell of Chi-
cago; Mrs. Arnold Blumberg of
Shaker Heights, O.; and Mrs.
Alan Luckoff. Deborah Schane
was junior bridesmaid.
Ross Sandler of Coral Gables
served as best man. Ushering
were Marvin Portner, brother of
the bride, Michael Norman of
Philadelphia, Jack Oppenheim of
New York, Leonard Portner, Jor-
dan Rossen and Stephen Weis-
wasser. A dinner and a reception
followed the ceremony.
The couple will make their
home in England for two years
while the bridegroom, a Dart-
mouth College graduate, con-
tinues his graduate studies at
Trinity College, Cambridge.
The bride, who is affiliated
with Alpha Epsilon Phi, is a
senior at the University of
Michigan, and will complete
her studies for a degree in
speech therapy while in Eng-
land..
