The Kutnick Cousins Club will hold its annual picnic 1 p.m.
Sunday at the Oak Park picnic grounds. Harold Kutnick will be
in charge of activities.
The Cornfield Family Club will meet 8 p.m. Sunday at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Cornfield, 20415 Strathmoor.
. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Rubin and family, formerly of Rose-
mary Ave., Oak Park, are now residing at their new home, 24551
Oneida, Oak Park.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Petok of Ilene Ave. last Sunday, cele-
brated their 50th wedding anniversary at a' dinner party at the
Furniture Club. The couple have two daughters, Mrs. Barney B.
Israel and Mrs. Bernard Rothenberg; two sons,-Theodore M. and
Samuel; and nine grandchildren.
Dr. Gerald Besterman, who 'has been graduated from the
Ohio College of Chiropody, and his wife, Phyllis, are visiting
with their. parents, Dr. and Mrs. Albert Besterman and the
Joseph Gabas.
Mrs. Sarah Elson is in Mexico City visiting_with her children
and grandchildren.
Mrs. Irene Sugar arrived in Paris this week for a two-week
visit before continuing to Zurich, Munich, Rome and Tel Aviv.
Mrs. Helene Oppenheimer is spending a holiday in London
with her two children. Mr. Oppenheimer will join his family
shortly for a tour through Europe.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Gertzban arrived in England aboard the
S.S. United States, for an extended trip to France, Italy, Germany,
Austria and Israel.
Betty Kowalsky and Jerome Stasson will present their stu-
dents in a piano and violin recital Thursday, 8:30 p.m., at Baldwin
Recital Hall, Woodward at Ferry.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert H. Dworkin, celebrated their 25th wed-
ding anniversary,. June 9, at Elmwood Casino, with their children
Cynthia Lee and Shirley Ann.
Mrs. Philip Karlinsky (nee Brenda Freedland) and son,
Terry, of Norwalk, Calif., are in Detroit visiting her brothers, and
sisters, Mr. and Mrs. Alan Zalla of Rosemary Ave., Oak Park,
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Freedland of Northfield Ave., Oak Park,
and Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Freedland of Rutland Ave., Southfield,
parents of Philip Freedland Who will wed June 18.
Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Lazerson, 18600 Birwood, will give a
family party Sunday in celebration of the graduation from Wayne
State University Medical School of their son, Howard E., who
will intern at Los Angeles County Hospital. His brother, from
Princeton University, Earl Lazerson, will be on hand for the
celebration with his wife and two children.
