01 Britain to Re-Examine Its Stand UHS to Graduate Over 300 Students, Wishnetsky Heads Farband LZO Branch Largest Class in Its History, June 14 Edward Wishnetsky will be in- Regarding UN Genocide Convention The United Hebrew Schools will graduate the largest class in its history 8:15 p.m. Wednes- day at Cooley High School. Over 300 - students will receive diplomas at the joint graduation exercises of the elementary, high school and Midrasha de- partments. - These exercises mark the first graduation of students from the Midrasha, College of Jewish Studies, of -the United Hebrew Schools. • The graduates will receive diplomas from Lawrence Crohn, United Hebrew Schools educa- tion committee chairman, and Louis La Med, Midrasha chair- man, assisted by principals and rabbis of the respective United Hebrew Schools branches. The entire graduation group will participate in a choral read- ing, "Am Echad Hayinu" edited by Norman Ruttenberg, and set to the music of modern Israeli composers. United Hebrew Schools students will perform instrumental accompaniment to the reading. The production is under the direction of Chana and Ariel Stiebel, ofTthe music deyartment. The Women's Auxiliary of the United Hebrew Schools also will make their annual pres- entations of camp scholarships to honor students of the graduating classes. , Center Symphony Sets '61-'62 Dates The Center Symphony Orches- tra,. under the direction of Julius Chajes, has chosen the following -dates for its 1961-62 Tuesday evening concert series: Oct. 10, Nov. 21, Dec. 19, Jan. 23, April 10 and May 15.
