Women's Organizations to Install Officers, Present Mildred Rosenberg Youth Awards The annual meeting of the League of Jewish Women's Or- ganizations, an affiliate of the National Bureau- of Federated Jewish Women's Groups, will be held 8:15 p.m. Thursday at Adas Shalom Synagogue. New Group to 'Tackle Anti-Semitism Issue An off-campus, non-sectarian organization dealing with the problem of anti - Semitism - has been formed by a group of Wayne State University students. Marvin Surowitz, president of "Youth Dedicated to Jewish Lib- erty," stated that the club deals with anti - Semitism t h . r o u g h weekly informal discussions, so- cials and a broad program of lectures to educate the public to the inherent dangers found in anti-Semitism and the way it affects all segments of society. Katz, executive sec- retary of Temple Beth El and vice-president of the Jewish Historical Society, will speak on "Michigan Jews in the Civil War" at the Oak Park Rotary Club noon Wednesday. Town and Country to Present Stage Show in June "First Time Around," a. dra- matic first for the Town and Country Club, will be held June 3 and 4, President Moe R. Miller announces. The show will be preceded by a dinner and is open to the 570 family membership and one guest couple for each family. Seating will be limited on a first- come reservation basis to be made at the club office.
