Enrollment at the 10-acre camp is limited to 140 children between 3 and 12 years of age, but a special leadership training program for ten 12 and 15 year old boys and girls will start this year. A grand opening special is offered as an introduction to the camp, which opens its season June 26 and continues for nine weeks. Transportation - to -and from home is provided, and maximum counselor supervision is provided A all times. Among :the facilities are a pool and multi-purpose building, athletic field and sta- bles. Hot lunches, weekly cook-outs and daily snacks are included in the - program, and new features include riflery instruction for children over eight years old and towel laundering facilities for swimmers. -Kanfer has been a day camp director for five years and a camp administrator for 10 years. An assistant principal in Detroit schools, he teaches ' at Wayne State University. Also on his staff are Bob Weisberg, assistant res- ident- camp director with eight years of camping background, a degree in physical education and a water safety instructor's card; Bob Massel, art teacher and riflery instructor, Sharon New- man, Harriet Carnick and Leona Kanfer.
