AJC Labels Demands for Parochial Support a 'Serious Assault' Leo Pfeffer, American Jewish Congress spokesman, told a na- tionwide TV audience that the Catholic demand for Federal funds to support parochial schools represented "the most serious assault upon the wall of separation between church and state in the history of our na- tion." Sidney Czeizler Is Alex Belkin Dies; Second Scrap Dealer Active in Many to Be Slain in Holdup Local Movements Sidney Czeizler Tuesday be- came the second scrap iron dealer to be shot to death in a holdup within four months. The 36-year-old father of three was found dead in a storeroom of his Industrial Scrap Iron Co., 9040 W. Jefferson. His secretary, Mrs. Bella Kapp, 39, was crit- ically wounded with four bullet wounds. The victims were discovered by the scrap yard foreman, Ed- ward Kamienny, 42, of 21931 Whitmore, Oak Park. The crime closely parallels the gun slaying of scrap dealer Abra- ham Siegel, 70, and his secretary, Airs. Dolores Pfetzing, 30, in a Nov. 15 holdup.
