"Mr. Shakespeare Gets
Around" is the title of an
unusual program to be offered
by Center Theatre of the Jewish
Center for its next regular
"Audience on Stage" presenta-
tion 8 p.m. Wednesday.
The event to be held on the
stage of the Center's Aaron
DeRoy Theatre, will present
Shakespeare in different media
and styles.
The "Bard at
the Lectern"
will be repre-
sented by

and Melba

Another feature of the eve-
ning will be "The Yiddish Ham-
let." The program will be
rounded out with "Messrs.
Shakespeare and Shylock," a
Jewish approach to the "Mer-
chant of - Venice". to be pres-
ented by Jerome Bayer, director
of Center Theatre, who has
planned the entire evening.
Following the program, coffee
will be served in the wings. The
public is invited.
