Four-Hour Battle on
Syria-Israel Front

TEL AVIV, (JTA) - One Is-
raeli soldier was wounded slightly
in a four-hour exchange of fire
between Syrian and Israeli posi-
tions near the demilitarized zone
in northern Israel.
The Israel Army spokesman
said the firing began when the
Syrians began shooting at a trac-
tor working on Israeli land south-
east of the kibbutz Shear Yashuv
on the east side of the Jordan
River. An Israeli patrol returned
the fire. The shooting ended when
night fell. Israel has lodged a
complaint with the Israel-Syrian
Mixed Armistice Commission.

U. S. Committee Builds
Bar-Ilan Bublick Hall

NEW YORK, (JTA) - The
American Committee for Bar-Ilan

The hall will honor the memory
of the long-time religious Zionist
leader and Yiddish editor. It will
house the departments for the
study of Torah, Talmud, Israeli
history and Jewish philosophy.
The three-year-old university now
has 600 students.

Diamond Crystal, Household
Word for 3 Generations

Jewish housewives through
three generations in the United
States, have put confidence in
Diamond Crystal Kosher Salt for
purity and quality, for koshering
meat and for cooking.
Neither too thick nor too thin
for salting meats, it is kosher
for Passover, as it is all year
'round, and is prepared under
the strict supervision of an
orthodox rabbi.
For table use, Diamond Crystal
Weather-pruf salt pours evenly
and freely even in moist weather.

Gold's Horseradish .
Okayed for Passover

Gold's horseradish has been
recommended for Passover use
after preparation under strict
orthodox rabbinical supervision.
Gold's red and white horseradish
is available in local food stores.

Swee-Touch-Nee Tea
Gains in- Popularity

To those of us who can go back
in fond recollection to Seder
night in grandfather's house,
with all its warmth and eager ex-
citement, its melange of tastes
and sounds and aromas intimate-
ly associated with Passover in
days gone by, there is one thing
that still has the capacity to
evoke nostalgic memories: the
rich aroma of Swee-touch-nee Tea
flooding the room with its soft,
deep, velvety fragrance.
The tradition of Swee-touch-
nee Tea at Passover and, for
that matter, throughout the en-
tire year, is a strong, as fondly
familiar today as it was in grand-
father's home-and in his father's
home in the old country. Its
popularity has been enhanced in
recent years.
Swee-touch-nee Tea, strictly
kosher for Passover, is featured
at all supermarkets, chains and
independent food stores which
carry a holiday line. Also avail-
able this Passover is Swee-touch-
nee Instant Coffee.
