One-Man Exhibit of Broner Graphics at Garelick's Gallery eta w-i 84' ett PC r-4 z 1:0 A An exhibition of the recent graphics of Robert Broner will be held at Garelick's Gallery, 20208 Livernois, from March 5 through 18. Broner, art director of the Jewish Center, is an artist of national recog- nition as well as an experi- enced educator. He studied fine arts at Wayne .c" State Univer- sity, where he received h i s B . F . A . and M.A., and paint- ing at Arts and Crafts and the New School for Social Re- Broner search. This current show, which is Broner's second one-man ex- hibit at Garelick's Gallery, is the harvest of the past two years, in which he has con- centrated upon printmaking. It includes four groups, differ- ent in technique and approach, among which are his famous texture imprints. Broner is represented in the permanent collections of many museums, among them the Museum of Modern Art, the Guggenheim Museum, National Gallery, Philadelphia Museum, Cincinnati Museum and the Detroit Institute of Arts. One of Broner's prints was chosen for the Print Council Show, 1960, which was exhibited in 18 American museums and is touring France. He is in the U.
