In 1960, Mrs. Gayl headed the WAO delegation to North Africa (Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia), the Middle East (Israel, Iran) and Europe (France, Italy, Switzer- land, Austria). The delegation, which was overseas during Jan- uary and February, visited and inspected more than 50 ORT in- stallations. Later in the same year, Mrs. Gayl once more went abroad on an ORT mission.
