MRS. JACK BINDES

Susan Harriet Biber was wed
to Jack Herbert Bindes in a
ceremony performed Feb. 12 by
Rabbi Jacob Segal and Cantor

Shalom Synagogue.
The newlyweds are the chil-

shaped skirt with wide border
of lace appliqued with satin
rosettes fell into a full cathe-

tered the back of her train and
her veil was held in place by
one large rose to match her
gown.
Lois Brandewine was matron
of honor. Bridesmaids were
Mrs. Milton Whiteman, Rosa-
lind Lax, Deborah Riklin, Elaine
Stone and Sherrill Marblestone.
Morris Herman was best man.
Ushers were Sheldon Markel,

stein, Sheldon Otis and Ron
Weiner.
A dinner-dance for 275
guests followed the ceremony.
The couple departed for a New
York honeymoon. They will
reside on Merton Rd. upon their

Adas Shalom United Syna-
gogue Youth feel there should
be a social vehicle to unite all
the Jewish youth in the city for
cooperative activities.
They _ have . therefore planned
a "Candy Cabaret" for Saturday
night, March 4, in the Adas
Shalom social hall.
Invitations have gone out • to
members of all Jewish youth
groups in the city, and the spon-
sors hope there will be a re-
sponse "commensurate with the
necessity for such unity."
Steve Cooper has been named
chairman of this project, and he
is in the process of mobilizing
forces for the event.
