Readies Family Night,
Hosts Church Youth
Adults have been invited to
a "Family Night" by the United
Synagogue Youth Chapter of
Cong Bnai Moshe 8:30 p.m. Sun-
day in the Bnai Moshe social
hall in Oak Park.
A stage production of Israeli
dances with an accompanying
narrative will be based on
"Israel's History Through Its.
Dance," and vocal entertain-
ment will be fur nished by
Arella Barley, interpreter of
modern Israeli music.
Miss Barley also will demon-
strate and lead youngsters and
adults through some simple
group dances which will provide
an opportunity for families to
learn, play and dance together.
There is a nominal admission
charge and tickets will be avail-
able at the door.
Mark Roth is president of the
U.S.Y. chapter organized less
than a year ago as part of a
national movement to bring
youngsters closer to the Syna-
gogue. It is one of the fastest
growing chapters in the nation.
The Junior U.S..Y. group will
be host to the young members
_of the First Baptist Church of
Ferndale, 2 p.m. Sunday, in
observance of Brotherhood
Week.
Members will conduct a
guided tour of the • synagogue,
explaining s y m b o l s and art
work. A social hour with Israeli
songs and dances will follow.
