The Adas Shalom Youth will
present its traditional annual
Hebrew production 8:30 p.m.
Feb. 18 in the social hall of the
synagogue.

in Detroit of this orginial He-
brew production written by
Feinstein and Moskowitz, which
was first produced off-Broad-
way in 1955.
It is a musical comedy about
an American who wins a free
trip to Israel. Chaim Pickle is
a Texas Jew, but by no means
a Hebrew scholar,, and a most
illogical person to "have won the
trip to Israel. '
The first act covers his ar-
rival, the second act a revue in
Tel Aviv where he meets and
falls in love with the star of
the revue, as well as the Negev.
Many humorous situations arise
and the songs used are parodies
of well-known American tunes.
The play, sponsored by the
Adas Shalom Mens Club, is
open to the public at no charge.
Last year's production had an
overflow audience of 1,250.
