top young swimmers will com-
pete in the first Michigan
Amateur Aquatics Swim Meet 1
p.m. Sunday in the Center pool.
Events will range from 25 to
100 yards in free, breast, med-
ley and fly styles, plus 100
and 200 yard relays for boys
and girls, 6-18. Medals and
team trophies will be awarded.

Shavuot, is now available for
audiences in ,America. The pic-
ture, photographed in full color
with original music and Eng-
lish commentary, was filmed
and recorded in Israel' under
the direction of Yehoshuah
Brandstatter.
"Holidays In Israel" depicts
the joy of the celebration of
two important "Yomim Tovim"
in ‘P,retz Yisrael." The cast of
characters are t h e people
themselves, including some of
the most beautiful children
in the world.
The famous Inbal Dancers,
leading the processional at the
festival of the first fruits on
Shevuot, the impressive march
of the pious to Jerusalem to
prepare for Passover, the Seder
celebrated in a typical Israeli
home, are seen in the film. As
the camera shifts rapidly to a
kibbutz new versions of the an-
cient ceremony are introduced.
