Lebanon to Permit
All Ships to Unload
Cargoes ; Irked by UAR

In medicine, a specialist is called in when
the patient requires the most expert opin-
ion available.

PARIS, (JTA) — A develop-
ment which political circles here
interpret as "the first break in
the Arabs' solid anti-Israeli eco-
nomic boycott," was reported
here this week in a Beirut dis-
patch to the newspaper Le
Monde.
The report revealed that the
Lebanese Ministry of Economy
has authorized permission "for
all ships" to unload their car-
goes at Lebanese harbors.
The Lebanese Ministry's ruling,
according to Le Monde, follows
disclosure of the fact that United
Arab Republic authorities per-
mitted a Norwegian freighter,
SS Mars, to unload its cargo
at Alexandria, Egypt. The Mars
had been on the Arab Boycott
Office blacklist since 1956 for
previous trading with' Israel.
Earlier, the same ship had
been banned from Beirut by
Lebanese authorities observing
the anti-Israeli boycott.

There are specialists in insurance, too. But
unlike the medical ones, they are rarely
called by the people who may need them
most. Why is this?

Actually, most people don't know there

to Have Slain 30,000

BERLIN, (JTA)—West Berlin
political police announced the
arrest of two former SS leaders
charged with the slaying of at
least 30,000 Jews between • July,
1941 and April, 1942. The two
are Oswald Schaefer, 52, manager
of a Jaw department, and Wil-
helm Wiebens, chief clerk of an
electricity firth.
A Berlin court i mpounded
property comprising most of the
$52,000 estate of the late Dr.
Georg Thierack, the last Nazi
Minister of Justice.
The exact value of the im-
pounded property was $40,600.
The court found Thierack guilty
of handing over Jews, Poles, Rus-
sians and gypsies to the SS "for
extermination." Thierack com-
mitted suicide in 1946.

For a preliminary meeting in Mr. Leitman's
office, call WO 1-2110. No obligation
