Troth Announced

Mrs. M. Gotlib and daughter, Sara, of Flint, are among the
observers of the Zionist Organization of America, at the 25th
World Zionist Congress in Jerusalem.
The Sherman Family Club will meet 8:30 p.m. Sunday at
the home of Mr. and .Mrs. -Israel Levenstein, 19178 San Juan,
for the election of officers. Plans will be made for the club's
coming Bar Mitzvah. year celebration.
Bette Rossen, daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Philip Rossen of
Robson Ave., departed last week to spend the winter term as a
student at Mexico City College, IVIexico.
The Burg Family Club will meet Sunday at the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Dave Burg, 23611 Cloverlawn, Oak Park
Mr. and Mrs. Mark D. Sterns of Griggs Ave. were joined
by relatives and friends in celebrating their 40th wedding an-
niversary at a dinner and reception on New Year's Day at
Northwood Inn. The surprise party was planned by the couple's
two daughters and their husbands, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Siegel
and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wyzan. The Sterns' have five grand-
children.
Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Schostak, 18684 Gr4enlawn, recently
returned from a three-week trip to Miami Beach, ,,the_ South Seas
and Bahamas.
The Kaplan Family Club will meet Sunday at the home of
Paul and Dubby Begun, 22559 Avon, Southfield.
