Freeman, who has delighted au-
diences throughout the country,
has been called "an appealing
citalist" by the New York Herald .
Tribune's music critic„ He inter-
prets stories-in-song and is equal-
ly adept at pathos as he is in of-
fering humorous selections.
Having appeared on Zionist Or-
ganization of America "Here's Is-
rael" television programs, and
featured regularly on "Echoes of
Israel" programs on Channel 3,
Freeman has scored many suc-
cesses, including triumphal, ap-
pearances at Town Hall concerts
in New York.
He has toured Israel, Canada
and scores of cities in this coun-
try offering "Songs of Our Peo-
ple." He continues to star on
many TV shows and his songs
have made hits as recordings.
The guest speaker at the an-
nual JNF women's donor tea will
be Ira Hirschmann, noted lec-
turer and author and one-time
U. S. Government representative
in war refugee rescue efforts. -

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — Jet-
liners are cutting substantial
chunks off the time required to
fly to Miami Beach, and soon-
more minutes will be saved on
the journey to and from the air-
port. Work is progressing rapidly
on a throughway from the airport
on the mainland to the new high
speed causeway completed a year

ago across Biscayne Bay to the
central section of the city.
