Mrs. George Lerner, president
of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the
Jewish National Fund, announc-
ed this week that the guest
speaker at the annual donor tea
which will conclude the current
fund-raising donor drive, on
Jan. 31, at Temple Israel, will
be Ira Arthur Hirschmann, who
was one of the leading figures
in war refugee relief activities
during World War II.
Hirschmann was a leading ad-
vertising and radio executive
and has participated in many
educational movements. .
A native of Baltimore, - and a
graduate of Johns Hopkins Uni-
versity, he has been president of
