JERUSALEM, (JTA) — The
Khedivial. Mail Line of Alex-
andria, Egypt, - which has been
operating three ships between
Alexandria and the United
States east coast, has ordered
its sailings to the United States
canceled, due to the boycott
against the line by the Inter-
national Seafarers Union of the
United States.
The International Seafarers
Union has threatened to con-
tinue picketing the company's
ships, just as the union picketed
the vessel Cleopatra in New
York harbor last summer. The
union's picket line was estab-
lished as a protest against the
UAR's blacklist of American
shipping trading with Israel.
The company's announcement
also stated that Khedivial is re-
signing from membership in the
North Atlantic Shipping Con-
ference, due to the cancellation
of the sailings to and from the
U.S. east coast.
