In 1902, at a meeting of the
First Roumanian Fraternity Or-
ganization, a house at 236 Ade-
laide was purchased for use
as the first synagogue of Cong.
Beth Moses Anshe Romania. An
addition was soon built for the
ladies.
Four moves later, from 1950
to 1960, saw the congregation
at 13925 Linwood. Rabbi Ger-
shom Frankel, its present spiri-
tual leader, has been with the
synagogue for ten years.
