The service will climax "Leon Fram Dr. Bamberber Day" in Detroit, proclaimed by Mayor Louis C . Miriani, as Rabbi Fram receives the key to the city and a resolution citing his 35 years of service to the community. Dr. Bamberger will deliver the sermon on- the subject "The Realities of Reform Judaism." Rabbi NI. Robert Syme, co-rabbi with Dr. Fram at Temple Israel, will conduct the Sabbath ser- vice. Both Dr. Bamberger and Rabbi Fram had their roots in Baltimore, where Rabbi Barn- berger was born and where Dr. Fram was brought when he was five years old. Both were or- dained at Hebrew Union College. As a birthday gift from Temple Israel, Rabbi Fram is being given a round trip to Israel. It is to be part of the charter trip to Israel by Re- form rabbis for the dedica- tion, next year, of the Nelson Glueck Archaeological School in Jerusalem.
