A spokesman said Fenakel will be cited for "his devoted and humanitarian efforts in be- half of the Senior Adults." The cantor, who has been af- filiated with Adas Shalom Syna- gogue for 11 years, has volun- teered much of his time to Senior Adults and was instru- mental in forming the Older Adults Choral Group, consisting of some 75 men and women who meet at the Center every Wednesday afternoon under his direction. Highlights of the afternoon's program will be a concert by the Older Adult Choral Group, conducted by Fenakel, and a Hanukah candle-lighting cere- mony performed by Mrs. Isaac Kovarsky. Featured delicacy of the luncheon will be the traditional potato latkes, according to Mrs. Irving Kramer, Center Lounge chairman.
