Joseph Bernstein's 80th Birthday

Flint's College and Cultural
Development Fund this week
acclaimed a generous gift from
children to a father.
The development fund an-
nounced a gift of $25,000 from
Dr. and Mrs. Eli N. Bernstein,
of 1809 Windsor Lane, Flint,
in honor of Dr. Bernstein's
father, Joseph - Bernstein, the
well known Detroit community
leader who for more than 30
years has been the manager of

WINDSOR LODGE Monday
night presented a citation to
Sheldon Safran, 19-year-old stu-
dent, for his service in rescue
work in the recent Metropolitan
Store disaster. The presentation
was made at a meeting held
jointly with the Balfour -Post of
the Canadian Legion. Windsor
Lodge also presented a menorah
to The Hon. Paul Martin, MP,
at a testimonial given in his
honor Thursday night at Cleary
Auditorium.
