So you may know the truth...
A
SMEAR CAMPAIGN of vicious falsehood
has been unleashed by insidious campaigners
against Richard M. Nixon. They are seeking
to taint the Vice President of the United
States with a stigma of bigotry. They carry
on a whispering campaign that he is anti-
Semitic. Racial antagonism is being fomented
against Mr. Nixon in an effort to win the
presidential election for his opponent.
This is the Hitler and Communist tech-
nique . . . tell a Big Lie and keep telling it,
so the people will remember it. It has been
this campaign of falsehoods that has un-
consciously influenced people to pass on such
remarks as, "Nixon is a good man, butt

gainst any accusations of bigotry. His recor
from boyhood and as a statesman is ample
proof of his fairness and humaneness. His
courageous fight for the equality and rights

Therefore, we call u

Accusations against Nixon are nothing new
today . . . they are only false rumors warmed
over and served again . . . they have been
thoroughly investigated by B'nai B'rith and
others and found to be wholly false. We com-
mend Yeshiva University for conferring an
Honorary Degree on Nixon, and the B'nai
B'rith, the Anti-Defamation League, the
American Zionist Council, the American
Jewish Committee, the Joint Defense Appeal,
and many other Jewish organizations for pub-
licly paying homage to Nixon for his cham.
pionship of justice, human rights, and dignity
for all races and creeds in America, Israel
and all over the world.
We hope you will treat with deserved con-
tempt any efforts of conscienceless cam-
paigners who continue to spread slanderous
charges against such men of integrity and
honesty.
