by the overwhelming number

DETROIT JEWISH NEWS — Friday, October 28, 1960
Cobo Hall, the symbol of new
greatness and progress for De-
troit, will be the scene of the
Israel Bar-Mitzvah Year in-
augural dinner, at 7 p.m. next
Wednesday.
This will be the first kosher
catered dinner to be held in the
ballroom of the world's newest
and largest exhibition hall.
Even as Cobo Hall marks the
dawn of fulfillment for Detroit's
splendid Civic Center, the Israel
Bar-Mitzvah Year Dinner will
mark the dawn of Israel's conn-
ing of age and its transition
from a land of promise to a
land of fulfillment.
