of the United Synagogue of
America honored ADELE GINZ-
BERG at a luncheon at the Wal-
dorf-Astoria, New York, Oct. 27.
The tribute luncheon was ten-
dered in observance of her ef-
forts on behalf of the Mathilde
Schechter Residence Hall of the
Jewish Theological Seminary of
America. Mrs. Ginzberg is the
wife of the late Dr. Louis Ginz-
berg, professor of Talmud and
Rabbinics at the Seminary from
1902 until his death in 1953.
