LIVONIA JEWISH CONGRE
GATION is forming a men's
club, slating its first meeting for
11:30 a.m. Oct. 23 at the Syna-
gogue, 32070 W. Seven Mile Rd.
A speaker will be featured and
bagels and coffee will be served.

AF A VAS ACHIM MEN'S
CLUB will hold its annual fel-
lowship get together dinner at
6:30 p.m., Tuesday, in the social
hall of the synagogue. Guest
speaker will be Judge Victor
Baum. Cantor Simon Bermanis,
formerly
Park Synagogue,
Cleveland, 0:, and presently af-
filiated with Cong. Ahavas Achim,
will render a musical program
and lead community singing.
Entertainers will include Skipp
Elliott and Jerry Mann, and
pianist-organist Tom Montgomery
will perform. Dinner will follow
cocktails at 6:30 p.m. Members
and friends are invited, an-
nounce Bernard Osoff, presi-
dent, and Herb Hyman, chair-
man of the event.

BETH AARON MEN'S CLUB
has scheduled its tenth .annual
cabaret night for 6:30 p.m. Oct.
23 in the synagogue social hall,
18000 Wyoming. A seven-course
kosher catered dinner will be
served, and Sam Emmer's or-
chestra will provide supper
dancing. Guest stars will be Dick
Chase, comedian and master of
ceremonies, and Taffy Johnson,
vocalist. For reservations, call
