The 60th birthday of Temple
Beth El Sisterhood will be cele-
brated with an open house at
12:30 p.m., Oct. 10. Because of
its association with many social
agencies in the community, the
Sisterhood has invited members
of the United Community Serv-
ices to join in the celebration.
Guest speaker will be Muriel
Wolfson, young dramatic star,
who will present "Two Lives,"
the story of Helen Keller and
her teacher, Anne Sullivan,
which was both written and pro-
duced by Miss Wolfson.

heart and chest maladies.
City of Hope is dedicated to
the principle that there is "no
such thing as an incurable dis-
ease, there are only diseases for
which no cure has been found."
From Oct. 3 until Dec. 31,
Blue Banks will be displayed in
prominent positions on count-
ers, making it easy and conveni-
ent for local residents to donate.
All members are urged to vol-
unteer for placement of . Blue
Banks. Rolls and coffee will be
served before they depart to
place Blue Banks.
