MRS. DENNIS SOLOMON
Sandra Miller became the
bride of Dennis Solomon on
Sept. 11 in a double-ring,
candlelight c e r e m o n'y per-
formed by Rabbi Benjamin
Gorrelick at Cong. Beth Aaron.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Miller,
18287 Ilene Ave. The bride-
groom is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Sam Solomon, 6334 Lon-
don.
The bride wore a gown of
white silk peau de soie with
an open rounded neckline,
fitted bodice, shirred pouf e el-
bow-length sleeves and dome-
shaped, floor-length skirt. The
skirt was draped into a modi-
fied bustleback, caught at the
waistline with white silk peau
de soie roses and chapel train.
The maid of honor was Na-
dine Solomon, sister of the
bridegroom. Mrs. Harvey Coop-
er was matron of honor. Brides-
maids were Karen Kahn, Judy
Brenner, Sue Stein, Roberta
Lipton and Nina Woolf. Flower
girls were Sandra Solomon and
Zeeda Kopel.
The best man was Harvey
Miller, brother of the bride.
Ushers were Harvey Cooper,
Kenneth Waldman, Sheldon Si-
mon, Gerald Gross, Donald
Oshinsky and Steve Solomon.
Out of town guests were from
California, Chicago, B o s t o n,
Cleveland and Virginia.
Following a honeymoon in
Florida the newlyweds will re-
side at 24764 Rensselaer, Oak
Park.

Religious and lay lea ders
joined some 1,500 congregation
imembers last week-end in dedi-
cating the million-dollar Bnai
Moshe sanctuary in Oak Park.
A good deal of pomp, rever-
ence and a fervent pledge
marked the three-day ceremon-
ies at the site of the synagogue
on Ten Mile Rd. at Kenosha
Ave.
Chief among the distinguished
speeches was "And They Shall
Build Me a Sanctuary," by
Rabbi Moses Lehrman, spiritual
leader of the congregation.
"Our new and magnificent
synagogue," said Rabbi Lehr-
man, "calls for a re-evaluation
of our attitudes. Our respons-
ibilities to Bnai Moshe sum-
mon to greater effort, deeper
committment and increased
vigilance that this structure
turn not into a pyramid of
show and emptiness.
