T FOR A KING!
Dr. Edward V. Sittler, 43,
former Michigan College of
Mining and Technology profes-
sor and one-time Nazi propa-
ganda broadcaster in World War
II Germany, has been denied
U. S. citizenship.
An immigration service ex-
aminer in New York City re-
jected Sittler's application on
grounds that the former Nazi
failed to establish that he had
"been attached to the Constitu-
tion and well-disposed to the
good' order and happiness of
the United States" during the
five-year period ending next
Jan. 1, required by law.
Sittler is expected to appeal
the recommendation of denial
by Examiner William J. Kenville
to. Federal Court in New York
next October. His British-born
wife, Lilly Margaret, 42, has
also applied for citizenship, but
no ruling has been issued.
