Bnai David Limits Seats for High Holy Days

Hit Mushroom
Synagogues as
`Lacking Dignity'

The Board of Trustees of
Cong. Bnai David has voted
unanimously to limit seating on
the High Holy Days to syna-

A statement re-affirming their
traditional position with respect
to so-called "mushroom" syna-

High Holy Day worship, was
released by Rabbi Isaac Stoll-

a center of worship previously,
lacks the dignity and decorum
marking Jewish houses of wor-

seemly manifestations harmful
to the pride and self-esteem of
the Jewish community; but
