Khal Charedim, and his family, will be held 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Holiday Manor. Rabbi Leizer Levin, president of the Detroit Vaad Horabonim, will be the guest speaker. Greet- ings will be extended by repre- sentatives of local organizations. A musical selection will be ren- dered by a prominent cantor. Isidor Sosnick is chairman of the event. Harry Greenfield will act as toastmaster. The arrange- ment committee, listing Max Hoberman, as treasurer, Joseph Grossman, as secretary, has had the active participation of Na- than Framovitz, George Wertz- berger, Jeno Krakovis and M. Merzon stated: "Although Rab- bi Deutsch is but three years in this land, he has made an in- delible impression upon those who had been fortunate to come under his influence. A scholar of renown, Rabbi Deutsch came to these shores with a record of achievements, first as spiritual head of the Jewish community at Sandro, Hungary, and environs consisting of about 48 Jewish settlements.
