Kuwait government to Sam-

the printing of Jewish books,

was told that the Kuwait

The reply added:

Discovery in Italy

ROME, (JTA) — Widespread
press attention has been given
to a major archaeological dis-
covery in northern Italy, after
four years of research, by a
team led by Emanuel Anati, an
Israeli archaeologist.
The team unearthed docu-
mentation on the existence of a
community which lived in the
area, near Lake Iseo, 2,000 years
B.C.E. The community left
artifacts of its existence in rock
drawings. Anati, who was
born in Florence, was graduat-
ed from the Hebrew University.
He completed his studies at
Harvard University and the
Sorbonne in Paris.
