MRS. DONALD KLEIN

Ilene Gwen .Eserow and
Donald Roger Klein on June 26
were wed in a candlelight cere-
mony at Temple Israel. They
are the children of Mr. and Mrs.
Jack Eserow of Chesterfield
Rd. and Mr. and Mrs. Jules
Klein of Griggs Avenue.
The bride wore a gown of
antique ivory silk peau de soie
with a circular collar of heir-
loom duchess lace which molded
into a fitted empire bodice.
The veil was a circular mantilla
of the same heirloom lace.
Matrons of honor were Mrs.
Lawrence Cantor, sister of the
bridegroom; and Mrs. Michael
Schiff, cousin of the bride-
groom. Bridesmaids were Har-
riet Eserow, c o u s i n of the
bride; - Brenda Cohen, Judy
Banovitz and Mrs. Herbert
Pastor. Janice Wexler was a
junior bridesmaid.
The bridegroom was attended
by his brother-in-law, Lawrence
Cantor, as best man. Ushers
included the brother of the
bride, Kenneth Eserow; Michael
Kent, Remey Rubin, Howard
Glazer, Bill Mercer and Joel
Beren, junior usher.
Seating the guests prior to
the ceremony were Sidney Pas-
tor, Herbert Pastor, Dennis
Pastor, Michael Schiff and Larry
Schiff.
Following a California and
Mexico honeymoon, the couple
will temporarily reside in Chi-
cago.

Jewish Folk Chorus Sets
Lola Valley Outing, Sunday

The Detroit Jewish Folk
Chorus will hold an all-day
picnic at Lola Valley, Sunday.
Food, songs and music and en-
tertainment will be provided,
announces Morris Citrin, presi-
dent.
To get to the picnic grounds,
follow McNichols Rd. west, and
enter the Kinloch Rd. entrance.
In case of rain, the event will
be held in the Music Center,
14868 Schaefer.

WUATS COOKING?

The first in a series of sum-
mer activities planned by the
Student Zionist Organization
will be an all-day outing at
Kensington - Metropolitan Park,
Sunday.
Two groups will meet at the
Hayim Greenberg Center, '19161
Schaefer, and from there head
out to the "camp site." Group
one will assemble at 8 a.m. and
drive out to Maple Beach.
Those who can come only
for. _ the . evening barbecue are
asked to meet. at the Center
at •6 p.m., from which they will
drive out to the park pavilion
on road No. 2.
All who are interested are
invited to attend. Bring swim
suits, lunches and hotdogs. Folk
dancing and singing will be
featured that evening, so all
may bring instruments and rec-
ords. Also, drivers will be ap-
preciated.
