Yehuda Shuval, Hillel Director, Dies in Israel JERUSALEM, (JTA) — Ye- huda Shuval, director of the Bnai Brith Hillel Foundation in Jerusalem and a veteran American Zionist, died in his weekend cottage at Ashkelton at the age of 61. Shuval emigrated to Israel from New York in 1947. He served as director of the Eng- lish-speaking department of the Keren Heyesod for ten years. Before coming to Israel, he was chairman of the joint Hadassah- Zionist Organization of America committee for youth affairs. He was also active in the field of Hebrew education and devised modern methods for teaching Hebrew which are used by the Israel broadcasting services. Ex-Detroiter Dead Harry Gilberg, a former De- troiter who owned a chain of shoe stores here, died June 21, in Tucson, Ariz., where he had resided since retiring in 1946. Services and interment were in Tucson. Mr. Gilberg had been a member of Temple Israel and was a 32nd degree Mason.
