MRS. MICHAEL PELAVIN

Before an altar adorned with
blue and white flowers, Natalie
Katz repeated marital vows to
Michael Pelavin. Rabbi Milton
Rosebaum performed the cere-
mony, which was conducted
June 18 in the sanctuary of
Temple Emanu-El.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Katz, of
Pinehurst Ave. Mr. Pelavin's
parents are the B. Morris Pela-
vins, of Flint, Mich.
For her wedding, the bride
chose a gown of pearl-White silk
organza over a pellum lining.
The snug bodice was styled with
insets of silk mist, and scrolled
stems of the material empha-
sized the cabbage rose that
clung to the rounded neckline.
The gown extended into a full
skirt, and the chapel train was
topped by a large pearl-centered
rose, which held a four-tiered
veil of Elizabethan illusion. She
carried a bouquet of white
butterfly roses, and wore a
double strand of pearls, the
gift of her bridegroom.
Carol Feinstein, of Teaneck,
N.J., was the bride's maid of
honor, and bridesmaids were
Marion Weitzman, also of Tea-
neck, Eleanor Breitel, of New
York, and Sherry Olan, of
Forest Hills, N.Y.
Leon B. Falk was the bride-
groom's best man, while seating
the guests were Michael Alex-
ander, of Ann Arbor, Avram
Bud Charlip, Burton Ralph
Freedman, Norman Gottlieb, of
Flint, Gerald Lawrence Katz,
brother of the bride, and Mar-
vin Niskar, of Oak Park.
Following a dinner and recep-
tion in the social hall, the
couple left for a wedding trip
to Jamaica. They will make
their home in Detroit this sum-
mer until Mr. Pelavin takes the
Michigan State Bar examina-
tions, after which they will
make their permanent home in
Flint.
