daughter, . Arline Brenda, to
Alan Edward Luckoff, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Louis H. Luckoff,
of Renfrew Road.
Miss Schachter attended
Sophie Newcomb College of Tu-
lane University, New Orleans,
La., where she was affiliated
with Alpha Epsilon Phi Soror-
ity. She is currentl: a student
at Wayne State University.
Mr. Luckoff, president of the
Junior Division of the Jewish
Welfare Federation, is a gradu-
ate of the University of Mich-
igan,. where he was secretary of
Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity.
A November wedding is
planned.

Annual `Get-Together'

The annual get-together of

Leave to Take Up
Israel Residence

Dr. and Mrs. William Klein
and four of their children are
leaving Detroit tomorrow, prior
to sailing for Israel where they
plan to take up permanent res-
idence. Another daughter is al-
ready in Israel.
The Kleins will sail June 16
from New York on the SS Jeru-
salem.
Accompanying them are their
children, Har-
vey, 16, Ar-
lene, 9, Judy,
7, and Nancy,
five. Another
daughter Nao-
mi is in Israel
and is to be
married on
July 10 to Am-
non Reiter, a
native Israeli,
in the Ain Ha-
shifet Kibbutz.

antes before local organizations,
with her husband, in programs
of Israel and other musical se-
lections.
Dr. Klein has been active
here in musical and medical
circles. He was the organizer of
Chord of Judea, an orchestra of
55 teenagers that functioned
here before the formation of
Halevy Singing Society of which
he was one of the organizers.
At Northwestern University,
where he earned his BS degree,
he was a member of the student
band, playing the trumpet. He
received his M.D. degree from
Wayne. University College of
Medicine in 1932.
On Wednesday evening, the
Klein family was tendered a
farewell by Arlazaroff Branch
of Farband.
He was the organizer and di-
rector of the Villa-Zion Geria-
tric Home on Linwood. He
hopes to continue medical prac-
tice, specializing in geriatrics,1
in Israel. He has visited Israel
twice before the present trip.

The Alpha Nu Parents Group
of Alpha Omega dental fra-
ternity will conclude its season
with a dinner and installation
ceremony for newly-elected of-
ficers this Wednesday evening,
at Topinka's.
Dr. Martin Naimark will be
installing officer, and Abe Gold-
stein will deliver the invoca-
tion. Mrs. Ruth Bicoll is in
charge of the evening's enter-
tainment.
Officers to be inducted in-
clude Irving Klief, president;
Mrs. Pearl Morton, vice-presi-
dent; Mrs. Jean Babbush, treas-
