The Patrons Society was or-
ganized early in 1959 by a
group of Detroit business lead-
ers, whd undertook to contrib-
ute $1,000 to Beth Yehudah
Schools' programs of Torah
Education.

urer, Arthur Beckwith.
Mr. Allen Kramer, one of the
initiators of the Patrons So-
ciety, said that "Our goal is to
assure the continued operation
of Beth Yehudah as a fortress
of intensive Torah Education,
dedicated to the dissemination
of our great spiritual and cul-
tural heritage. We welcome
all public spirited and dedi-
cated members of the com-
munity to join u _ s in this sacred
work".
