Long before the establishment of Israel, Mrs. Meir dedicated herself to the ideal of redeeming Eretz Israel and of establishing the Jewish National Home for the millions of oppressed and harrassed Jews throughout the world. She lectured here and helped raise funds for the movement for Palestine's redemption.
