Times Marches On

A 93-year-old man, 10
blind people and a large
contingent of female soldiers
were included in the 14,000
Israelis who participated in
the annual 100-mile hike
from the Negev to Jeru-
salem.
The marchers were routed
over some very difficult
stretches that included both
hills and desert. An 80-year-
old man, Zalkind Stalbow,
was the winner of the march
two years ago.
