Benjamin. D. Burdick, past president of the Law Alumni Association and current mem- ber of the group's board of directors, announced this week that a vigoious solicitation campaign will be conducted to raise a minimum of $50,000. The funds will be used to prepare plans for the new building, which will be located at a tentative site on the north- east corner of Second and Ferry, opposite the McGregor Memorial Conference Center. Law classes, Burdick said, are conducted in an old mansion on Cass. The principal lecture room is in an attached garage. Burdick asked for volunteers to assist in raising the plan- ning funds.
