Trophies were presented to tournament winners in 14
leagues at the Jewish Community Center's eighth annual
Sports Banquet. Over 1,000 Center members competed in such
sports as basketball, volleyball, table tennis and handball.
Shown here (bottom row) is SAMUEL LEVY, Center physical
education director for 22 years, now manager of the Center's
10 Mile branch, presenting the Samuel Levy Good Sportsnian-
ship Award to STEVE LASH, as guest _speaker, MILT HOP-

AZA to Choose 'Sweetheart'
at Dance Set for May 28

Plans are now being made
by the Greater Detroit AZA
Council for its first annual
Sweetheart Dance, to be held
May 28, at Adas Shalom Syna-
gogue.
Each AZA chapter is being
invited to enter the name of its
own sweetheart. The winner
will be announced the night of
the dance. "Sweetheart" entries
must be members of the Greater
Detroit BBG Council.
