Today, retired from his real estate activities, he devotes his time to studying. He reads a great deal—as much in Hebrew as in English — and enjoys watching the fruits of his la- bors—in behalf of Zionism. Jewish education and the syna- gogue. AARON PREGERSON for decades. SERWIN In ceremonies last Sunday evening, in the Michigan Union Ballroom, in Ann Arbor, Sandy Lee Kessel was joined in matri- mony with Bruce Allen Serwin. Rabbi Julius Weinberg, of Ann Arbor officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Kessel, of 911 Berkshire, Ann Arbor. Mr. Ser- win is the son of the Harry P. Serwins, of 189 Oneida, Pontiac. The new Mrs. Serwin chose a floor-length gown of sheer silk organza, fashioned with a scoop- ed neckline and short sleeves of hand-clipped Chantilly lace embellished with sequins. The same lace and sequin motif was carried out across the front of the very full skirt and the chapel train. Complementing her gown, the bride wore long, French kid gloves, and carried a white or- chid atop her white satin 'Bible. Her silk illusion veil fell to her fingertips from a cap of match- ing lace and sequins. Mrs. Douglas Taber, of Birm- ingham, Ala., was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Sarajane Serwin, of Pontiac; Mrs. Jack Kessel, Mrs. Jack Chartock and Mrs, Robert Kraft, all of Cincinnati. Janice Kraft, of Cincinnati, was flower girl. Richard Serwin was the bride- groom's best man, while ushers included Robert Greenburger and Byron Gold, of Detroit, and Charles Toby and Joel Thome, of Pontiac.
