Solo Seder Packages Shipped to Isolated GIs Some 3,000 Passover food boxes ("solo seders") have been shipped to remotest overseas U.S. bases in Iceland, Alaska, Greenland and other areas by women volunteers affiliated with the Women's Organiza- tions' Division of the National Jewish Welfare Board. These packages, containing all the holiday culinary basics, will come in handy at Arctic Dew Line stations and radar and missile sites where there will be no Jewish chaplains present. The packages, each containing a little greeting card from the local JWB committees sending them, contain Matzos, canned chicken and soup, gefilte fish and Passover sweets.
