of psychiatry, -will present the
final lecture in the 1960 Leo
M. Franklin Me.norial Lecture
Series, MOnday, in the Com-
munitY Arts Auditorium, at
8:30 p.m. The lecture is open to
the public free of charge.
_ "The Growth of Self In-
sight," the topic for the series,
will be Dr. Dorsey's subject.
Dr. Dorsey attended the Uni-
versity of Iowa where he re-
; ceived his B.A. degree in 1921.
In 1925 he received his M.D.
degree > at the University of
Iowa College of Medicine. • He
was a Rockefeller Foundation
Fellow and studied neurology
and psychiatry in European
:clinics 'for two years.

Use Special Haggadah
for Folk School Seder

Movsas Goldoftas, principal of
the United Jewish Folk Schools,
has prepared a special Hag-
gadah to be used at a model
seder being presented for stu-
dents, staff members and par-
ents at 12:30 p.m., April 10, in
the Hayim Greenberg Center,
19161 Schaefer.
All classes in the school will
participate in the festive event,
which will feature the lighting
of six candles in memory of. the
6,000,000 Jews who were de-
stroyed during the Nazi regime.
Enrollment for the fall - term
is currently being accepted for
pre-schoolers and for children
in elementary grades, aged 7

Adas Shalom Appoints
Larry Vieder SeXton

Appointment of Larry Vieder
as sexton of Adas Shalom Syn-
agogue was announced this
week by Max H..Goldsmith, pres-
dent of the congreation. Vieder
replaces Morris dladrich,- who
died suddenly early this year.
Vieder will serve the daily
minyan, be official l3a'al Kriah
and' Ba'al Tefillah for sabbath
and holiday service.
The new sexton is a native
of Czechoslovakia, where he
studied in yeshivot and Torah
for many years. He is married
and the father of two children:
