Hebrew Academy Sets Annual Dinner-Dance for April 3
PTA Fun Night

A fun night, featuring food,
entertainment, music and prizes,
is planned by the Hebrew Acad-
emy PTA at 9 p.m., Monday, in
the social hall of Cong. Mish-
-
kan Israel.
Harry Mirvis, one of the par-
ents whose child attends the
academy, will be master of
ceremonies, and there will be a
demonstration of hypnosis by
Dr. Zee.
Mrs. Peter Weiss, hospitality
chairman, is in charge of a late
buffet to be served. She is as-
sisted by Mesdames Bernard
Jones, Stanley Sherman, Myer
Mandelbaum, Joseph Gittleman,
Harry Mirvis and Solomon Le-
vine.

Working out final plans for the 26th annual Dinner-
Dance and Show of the Infants Service Group are the chair-
men for the event, left to right, seated: Mrs. DAVID RISE-
MAN, entertainment; and SAMUEL ROSENBERG, chairman;
standing: Mrs. HARRY BASKIN and Mrs. FRANK SHOOK,
tickets; and Mrs. SAMUEL KOPPELMAN, chairman. The
affair, always attended by a capacity crowd, will be held
April 3, in the Latin Quarter. It is the Infants Service Group's
major fund-raising event of the year.

The Jewish Community Cen-
ter Teen Varsity wound up its
season with a 7-2 record, fol-
lowing victories over Franklin
Settlement and the Sarvar Boys
Club.
The cagers whipped Franklin
Settlement, 44-39, for the sec-
ond time. The Center topped
Sarvar Boys Club, 43-26.
The intermural cage season
concluded with Jaguars whip-
ping Thunderbirds, 57-50, to cop
the Senior House League
(Young Adults a n d Adults)
title.
Jaguars and members of all
the other winning basketball
teams, plus winners in other
sports, will be honored at the
eighth annual sports banquet,
at 6 p.m., Wednesday.
