Bnai Moshe will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, in the synagogue social hall, when a slate of officers and board members, selected to fill vacancies, will be elected. The synagogue this week an- nounced the appointment of Harry Mirvis, of 21660 Kipling, Oak Park, as youth director of the congregation. In announcing the appointment, Mitchell Feld- man, chairman of the Bnai Moshe youth commission, ad- vised that Mirvis will develop and direct the congregation's youth activities. Mirvis, who holds a BS de- gree and master of social work degree from Wayne State Uni- versity, formerly was an assist- ant regional director of the Bnai Brith Youth Organization and was youth director at Beth Aaron Synagogue. He is a mem- ber and past president of Rex Lodge of Bnai Brith. His immediate tasks will be to organize a United Synagogue Youth group, integrate the Junior Congregation and other activities into one body and ex- pand sabbath services on all junior age levels. In the latter, he will be assisted by Joel Roth and Calvin Weiss.
