Three Detroit women were
members of a. group, of 53 per-
sons from all parts of the coun-
try who left Idlewild Airport
Monday evening on a. chartered
flight to Europe sponsored by-
the United Order of True Sis-
ters, America's oldest national
women's fraternal organization.
During the three-week tour,
they will meet with leaders in
the field of cancer research 'in
London and Paris. Aid to can-
cer victims is the national phil-
anthropy of the organizatioh,
functioning through the UOTS
cancer service.
The Detroit women partici-
pating in the European tour
are Mrs. Helen Harris, Mrs.
Anna Markus and Mrs. Mildred
