from Vita Products

On the "Avenue of Fashion"

Salads, either with meals or
as a meal. are on most menus
; every day because they are low
in calories and high in nutri-
tional value.
Vita Food Products. Inc., the
world's largest herring packer.
has created some new ideas for
traditional salad favorites,
which are given an added touch
' with Vita herring filets.
Here are some suggestions:
TOSSED HERRING SALAD
Prepare your favorite tossed
salad. Add Vita Party Snacks
(imported herring fillets in
light wine sauce and crisp
onion rings right from the jar.
Toss and serve with your fa-
: vorite salad dressing. Inci-
dentally, the light wine sauce
makes a fine salad dressing.

de HERRING SLAW

Add imported herring fillets
in sour cream sauce to tole
slaw — either home-made or
(prepared. Be sure to spoon in
the sauce and the onion rings,
too, f9r a ,new cole-slaw taste.
