Set June Date First Levin Award to Start in Fall An annual aware( in eco- nomics has been established at Wayne State University by friends and relatives of Samuel M. Levin. The award amounts to $150 annually and is present- ed to the student writing the best essay in the senior honors seminar in economics. Prof. Levin retired in 1958 after 45 years of teaching eco- nomics at WSU. The award of- fers an opportunity for dis- tinction for economics' students The first award will be made in the fall semester of 1960- 61. The deadline for applica- tions is May 1, 1960.
